CLUB YOUTH

The Middle School students will begin a book study of Prince Caspian by C.S. Lewis on Wed. April 16th.  We will “read” the book together on Wed. nights and explore the Christian symbolism Lewis so expertly employs to make these stories exciting and meaningful.  All 5th through 8th graders are invited to bring a friend and join us!  Meet us at 6:30 p.m. at the Adams House. Parents pick up at 7:30 p.m.  This study will last several weeks, then we will make plans to see the movie together in May.

Recycling

Help the youth of BFUMC keep the earth clean by recycling those aluminum cans and your Sunday bulletins.  Use the recycling bins at the exits for your bulletins, and the can marked recycling by the coke machine for your cans and 2 liter bottles.  The youth will be taking these to a recycling center. Thanks for helping!

Youth Wall of Fame….

Are you in a play at school? Are you playing ball? Are you having a chorus or band concert? Are you being honored with an award or some kind of recognition?

Let us know!  Post your name and event on the bulletin board in the youth room titled:  Wall of Fame!  Suzanne and other youth counselors would love to attend your event!

Spring Yard Sale!

The Youth will have a Huge Yard Sale this spring and we need your donations!  Please donate gently used items that have a good chance of selling!  You can drop items off at the Adams House now, or have us come to your home to pick up the donations.  Please call Suzanne to schedule a drop off. Or a pick up!  Proceeds will help youth go on a mission trip to Appalachia this summer.
